As Roberto Luongo makes his much-anticipated return to Rogers Arena to face off against his former team, I want to share 3 songs that we’ve done in the last past couple of years for the likable goaltender.
Just in time for Christmas, Marie and I proudly present to you a special compilation of custom Canucks Christmas carols. Hear new takes on old classics like Hansen the Honey Badger (Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer), Radim Vrbata (Feliz Navidad), Get it Bo! (Let it Snow!), This Christmas, and Mariah Carey’s All I Want for Christmas.
We were absolutely thrilled to work with the Vancouver Canucks on this project and are extremely grateful for the opportunity and for their trust. Special shout out to Paul Albi (@AlbiJr) for all his hard work to make this happen.
Also, big thanks to Chris Golden (@lyteforce) and his silky smooth voice for being our host. He’s perfect for the part!
And it goes without saying that – as usual – the big star here is Marie (@mariehui). She can make anything sound good!

What do you get when you combine two of my favourite things (youth ministry and the Vancouver Canucks)?
You get this awesome video:
I was pretty pumped when I saw this video. Most of my friends (and most readers of this blog) know that I’m a passionate Vancouver Canucks fan. I’m blessed to be a season-ticket holder and I’ve made a string of corny music covers and parody videos honouring the team.
For the start of the Vancouver Canucks’ 2014-2015 NHL season, I wrote a song about likely their strongest position on the team: the goaltenders.
Thus, I proudly present our ode to Ryan Miller and Eddie Lack called “I’ll Show Glove to You” based on Boyz II Men’s smash hit “I’ll Make Love to You.”
I’m joined by three lovely ladies would give Destiny’s Child a run for their money:
I’m very excited to join the team of hockey writers at Vancity Buzz and I’m very thankful for the opportunity to share my work with the legions of Vancity Buzz readers.
Thus, in the spirit of gratitude and inspired by Jimmy Fallon, please indulge me in some Thank You Notes.
