Canucks Christmas Song (with Ben Hutton and Jake Virtanen)

Here is our Canucks Christmas song – it’s a parody of Run DMC’s “Christmas in Hollis” book-ended by “My Favourite Things” from The Sound of Music.

We had a great time working with the Vancouver Canucks on this project. Canucks rookies Ben Hutton and Jake Virtanen join us for this video – they were so awesome to work with and had a lot of fun shooting with us.

Once again, I’m joined by the lovely and talented Marie Hui and Arielle Tuliao. As well, thanks to my brother Jason Imoo for producing the song.

Merry Christmas to all of you Canucks fans! I’ll be writing a blog about some of the “behind the scenes” stories from our shooting day soon.

I’m joined by regular collaborators – the lovely and talented Marie Hui and Arielle Tuliao for our version of Maroon 5’s popular song “Sugar”.

Matt Lee and I tee up another Vancouver Canucks season! With the preseason well under way, we spend some time talking about Jake Virtanen and Brendan Gaunce, who they think will make the opening night roster, and everything else we can think of.

Canucks Under the Microscope: Linden Vey

This season will be an important one for Linden Vey.

Penciled in as the fourth-line centre for the Canucks heading into the regular season, Vey has a lot to prove after signing a one-year, one million dollar deal with the club this summer. The team had high hopes for him when they traded a second-round pick to the Kings for him in the summer of 2014, and his new contract gives Vey another year to show that he be a vital part of the team.
