CCC – Clay’s Canucks Commentary for April 25, 2011: Desperate Times Call For Desperate Measures (Haikus for Game 7)

So it all comes down to one game between the Vancouver Canucks and Chicago Blackhawks to see which team will advance in the NHL Stanley Cup playoffs. Game 7 will be on Tuesday night at Rogers Arena.

After the Canucks stormed out to a 3-game lead, the Blackhawks have evened the series in mounting an improbable comeback. As the fans in Vancouver become increasingly nervous, I felt that I needed to go back to my roots. After all, desperate times call for desperate measures.

Thus, for this CCC I enlisted my kids to help me come up with Haikus to get us ready for the big game. We’ve had a good history with Haikus, as they helped us in 2 Ultimate Canucks Fans contests:

Also, we put some haikus together before Canada beat the USA in last year’s men’s gold medal game at the 2010 Winter Olympics: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QEqHcjMgV3I

We’ll see what happens this year!
